Day 47 of your magazine

Today, in AI safety — three things that mattered. The EU moved on enforcement, Anthropic shipped a new interpretability paper, and a quiet funding round hints at where the next wave is heading.

Why we built this

Reclaim your mornings.

The cost of staying informed has exploded. The returns haven't.

The old way
  • 45 wasted minutes opening 12 different browser tabs every morning.
  • Wading through link-bait headlines optimized for outrage, not signal.
  • Jumping between tracking banners, cluttered layouts, and inconsistent source pages.
  • Reading repetitive industry fluff recycled across every newsletter.
  • Algorithmic feeds that regress toward the mean of your attention.
The Morning Edition way
  • Open one app. One prompt. That's the whole workflow.
  • A beautifully synthesized 4-minute digest of what actually matters to you.
  • Sourced from peer-reviewed journals, financial papers, and global data outlets.
  • Every story links to its original source — never paraphrased away.
  • Drop it on your schedule — every morning, every Friday, on demand.
See it in action

Real content adapts to your prompt, schedule, and trusted sources.

Under the hood

Built for the way you actually read.

A small product surface, tuned to what the app actually does well today.

Prompt-driven magazines

Each magazine starts from your own prompt, so you can track a beat, company, market, or research area instead of following a generic feed.

Scheduled generation

Set a weekly, bi-weekly, or daily cadence based on your plan. The app keeps the schedule and generates issues automatically.

Email plus archive

Finished issues are available in the mobile archive and delivered with a clear email subject so they are easy to find later.

Active and paused control

Paid users can keep magazines saved without consuming schedule capacity. Activate the ones you want running now and pause the rest.

Token-aware planning

Plans are based on monthly issue capacity. The app shows how much schedule budget is already reserved before you activate another magazine.

A clean reading flow

Read the full issue, skim story previews, and open only what matters. The product is biased toward clarity, not feed engagement.

How it works

Built around a simple three-step loop.

1. Define it

Create a magazine

Give the magazine a title, write a prompt, and pick a delivery rhythm that fits the job.

2. Schedule it

Reserve monthly capacity

Free users get one magazine. Paid users can save more, then activate only the schedules their monthly issue budget can support.

3. Read it

Open the finished issue

When generation completes, the issue appears in the app archive and is also delivered by email for easy recall.

Pricing

Simple, predictable pricing.

The mobile app already has these plan tiers and limits. Public launch details may still change.

The core philosophy

We gate cadence, not quality.

Plans are differentiated by how much monthly issue capacity they reserve, not by a hard count of saved magazines for paid users. Free stays simple. Paid plans let you keep more magazines around and decide which ones are active right now.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Where does the app get its news sources?

You define the topic in your prompt. The system then gathers material, generates the issue, and presents the result inside the app with links back to the source material when available.

What happens if I hit my generation cap early?

Active magazines reserve part of your monthly issue budget. If you run out of capacity, you can pause an active magazine or save a new one as paused until capacity is free again.

Can I cancel my subscription easily?

In the current iOS app, subscriptions are managed through Apple. Billing details on this page are still presented as launch-intent, not a public storefront.

Is there support beyond the iPhone app?

Today the focus is the iPhone app. The landing page waitlist is for that product; Mac and Watch support are not part of the current shipped scope.

Will you fabricate links or sources?

No. Every link is the exact URL returned by our search backend. The AI only writes the editor's intro and picks the lead — it doesn't invent URLs, and a hallucinated link is structurally impossible by construction.
